WHAT IS A DESTINATION MANAGEMENT COMPANY?

A Destination Management Company (DMC) is a professional services company that is locally licensed and has its operational offices located in its country.

A DMC comprises of travel experts with extensive local knowledge of all the elements that make for a successful event, conference, or incentive travel program.


Services include transfers, transportation, dinners with a difference in unique locations, accommodation, activities, excursions, tours, teambuilding, social responsibility interactions, connecting with local communities, décor, audiovisual, on-site assistance, entertainment, and much more.

WHY USE A DMC?

Contracting a local DMC / Ground Handling partner in the country you are sending your valued clients to as an extension of your travel agency has many benefits.


These include: bridging language and cultural barriers; managing local suppliers who may think differently from what you are used to; leveraging their local buying power as a preferred supplier; well-trained staff who can give your clients advice about what to do in their leisure time; knowledge of local weather patterns; knowledge of unique dinner and meeting locations and an ability to get your group access to these often private function areas; ensuring your event meets local legislation and safety criteria. Most importantly, in the event of things going wrong, they will be at your side with an emergency action plan.

Is MGW DMC Network a travel agent?

No. We are not a travel agent. We are a company that manages an affiliation of local DMCs and Inbound Tour Operators at selected destinations and we focus on servicing licensed travel agents in ASEAN countries and other regions.

DOES MGW DMC Network PROVIDE SERVICES to Direct Clients?

No, we only offer B2B services to licensed travel agents.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE MGW DMC Network FOR OUR COUNTRY?

We only accept one professional DMC or Inbound Tour Operator per country. If we do not yet have a preferred partner listed, you can contact us to apply to join based on our vetting criteria. If we already have a DMC in your country, we will put you on the waiting list.

CAN WE GIVE CONFIDENTIAL FEEDBACK – BOTH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE ON YOUR DMC MEMBERS?

We welcome all feedback. It’s our goal to deliver world-class service at fair value to our clients. If for any reason you are not satisfied with any service delivery by our members, please contact us and we will liaise with both parties for a successful resolution.

CAN WE SEND YOU ENQUIRIES FOR MULTIPLE DESTINATIONS?

Yes. We will then send each country DMC their part of the program, as we believe each country needs to be handled by a local expert.
